Rose Aylett is a freelance teacher, trainer and CELTA tutor, based in Liverpool in the UK. She has been working in ELT for fifteen years, predominantly in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, most recently, running CELTA courses for Cambridge centres in Italy, the UK and Bahrain. For the thesis of her MA in Professional Development in Language Education, Rose is in the process of designing a teacher training course in critical pedagogy. In her teaching and training, her areas of interest include promoting critical dialogue and critical literacy (in both classrooms and teachers’ rooms), and creativity in teacher education. A keen hiker, when not climbing mountains or wild camping on her days off, she is the Teacher Training and Development Coordinator of the IATEFL Global Issues SIG. Alexandra Warden is a freelance teacher, trainer, CELTA and Delta tutor. She completed her CELTA at International House Barcelona over 18 years ago and has since worked for IH and British Council in Poland, Japan and Colombia and is now based in Milan, Italy. Alex completed her MA in Professional Development for Language Education 5 years ago and her dissertation focussed on using a Flipped Classroom approach for language learning. Her other areas of professional interest include using technology in the classroom, vocabulary learning and professional development. In her free time, Alex enjoys climbing, hiking, travelling and eating amazing food!
